Evaluation Question 3: What kind of institution might distribute your media product and why?

Columbia Pictures Industries is an American film production and distribution company. Columbia Pictures now forms part of the Columbia Tristar motion picture group, owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Sony. It is one of the leading film companies in the world, a member of the so-called bigstix. It was one of the so-called little three among the eight major film studios of Hollywood's golden age.
The Grudge, Mr.Deeds, Fun With Dick And Jane, Hancock, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Did You Hear About The Morgans?, The Bounty Hunter. These are examples of films that Columbia Pictures have produced and/or released, these films have been successes for Columbia Pictures. So I would hope that by using their good name and reputation they would be able to raise the profile on my film and make it a sucess too.
