Evaluation Question 5: How did you attract/address your audience?

These six ways of attraction will be appeal to my audience as, firlstly my film has a young actress this will be appealing to a young audience as they will be able to relate to the character, and the age group. This will especially atract the male audience as they will be interested in the damsel in distress.Another attraction for males is simply that it is a thriller, males prefer to watch this genre over females.

The film is a british film this will attract a british audience; audiences from around the area it was filmed will be very interested in something new that has been produced in their area. They will be able to make a relationship between parts of the costume, props and themselves.

The technology used in my film would also be of interest for movie fans as a split edit is used to create the image of twins when only one actor is used initially.

The soundtrack is eerie and follows typical conventions of a thriller this will be of interest to the audience again; as the soundtarck is used to highlight the mood and tone of the actors/actresses. So they will be able to make the relationship between a certain sound motif and know what character is about to appear or predict their behaviour.

In the film I used a variety of shots to create a different feel for every scene I included: mid-shot, longshots, close-ups, and point of view shot.This would enticing to an audience as they will feel the moods changing by the camerawork and feel part of it from the point of view shots.
