Evaluation Question 6: What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I used a variety of technology to create my film, such as:
DV camera, and DV tape
Capture process on an apple Mac computer
StoryBoard Quick
Final Cut
Sountrack pro

I have learnt that each part of different software is all used in the vital stages in film makingprocess, each of them is used for something different to build you final film.

I have learnt the advantagea and disadvantages ti DV camera and tape:

Advantages:

Tapes are cheap

Long recording time

View direct footage from DV tape on camera

Easy to edit video footage

work well for holding raw footage or completed video projects

Disadvantages:

Play tapes through camcorder to import footage onto computer, this occurs in real time

playing DV tapes put wear and tear on to you camcorder, so beat not to do this too often

As well as this I have learnt a simpler way to upload video; this is by using You Tube by embedding the videos it was easy to upload on to my blog.

Live type allowed me to design my titles making them my own, so I could incorporate the binary opposition theory by using Live Type, as I could chose the colours.
